Summer is Here!

Today on Ambergris Caye... Summer is here and its been hot! In the water is where you want to be to keep cool!  We've been working on a new t-shirt for those diveaholics out there who need to spend a little time in rehab...

Holidays are Coming!

Today on Ambergris Caye... Finally got time to sit down and add something to the website.  Were getting ready for the holidays and the busy season to start.  As long as the raining stops we all are looking for a really busy season..

Wild Mangos is Open!

Today on Ambergris Caye... Finally got time to sit down and add something to the website.  It's been a busy few months!  Opened up a restaurant, Wild Mango's, and getting fantastic reviews on the food.  We also just got in some more equipment to fill out the rental pool.  

Still trying to figure out how to stop the spam from getting put into the guestbook. Will be looking for a new version to keep all the garbage out.

Up and Running!

Today on Ambergris Caye... We were quite lucky and only had minor damage to the pier from Hurricane Wilma.  Yesterday we put all the equipment back into the dive shop and brought the boats around from their hiding places in the mangroves. Today we are out and diving again!

Manta Rays!

Today on Ambergris Caye... I would have to say that Bruce is the luckiest diver yet.  On two of the eleven dives he did here, he got to see Manta Rays.  Something the we only see five to six times a year.  The first group was four 2-3 footers with a good sized cobia following behind.  The second was a group of three 2-3 footers.

Canopy Sewing Class Anyone!

Today on Ambergris Caye... We put the new canopy for the boat that I spent the last two days sewing on.  Not to bad for someone who has never really sewn anything before!  When we replace the carpeting in the next few days I'll get some new pictures of the boat up.  

We moved in!

Today on Ambergris Caye... We hung the rail for drying equipment on the new pier and dive shop.  All that's left is some decorating, bringing out the chairs, and hanging the hammocks.  

We have to thank everyone who put up with us during the construction and look forward to having you all come check out the new shop!  

The pier construction is underway!

Today on Ambergris Caye... We poured the concrete in the PVC posts for the platform that the dive shop and deck is on.  Last time I want to do that for a while.  Its getting there and I hope to finish it in the next few weeks.

Today on Ambergris Caye... We put the first post into the ground for our pier and dive shop! Since we started working together this has been one of the biggest goals that we have wanted to achieve.  Through the support of all of you that have gone scuba diving with us over the past three years we were able to achieve this.    Take a look at the new Dive Facility!

Today on Ambergris Caye... I've been working on it for a while and finally got it uploaded!  We now have the largest online collection of pictures of the reef around San Pedro Town and the marine life that we see on a regular basis.  Check it out!

Turtle season is here & saw Manta Rays!

Today on Ambergris Caye... The big loggerhead turtles are back, and for the first time of the year for me, on the first dive this morning we saw a school of four manta rays that were about 2-3 feet across.  Had the camera on the boat, but left it for the second dive... shoot...next time I'll get a picture!

Today on Ambergris Caye... Advertising is my newest hobby.  I am working to get us out and exposed on the internet.  So I am looking for sites to exchange links with!  If you have or know of one then please let me know.

March is gone!

And hopefully so are the March winds. Its been a rough last few weeks and I am glad to see April here finally. We got a cold front in yesterday and it cooled it off alot and with the north wind its calm water for diving right now.
