The PADI diver training progression!

Discover Scuba Diving
No previous diving experience is required. This is the perfect introduction to see what scuba diving is all about without making the commitment to a certification course. Under our direct supervision you will become familiar with scuba equipment in the pool like conditions on the Belize Barrier Reef. After you have learned the basic skills we’ll take you on a tour of the reef system to a maximum depth of 10 meters/ 30 feet. There you have the opportunity to see snappers, jacks, moray eels, grey southern sting rays, and perhaps a nurse shark. With this introduction you can gain credit toward the PADI Scuba Diver/Open Water Diver Certification level.

Open Water Scuba Diver
The Open Water Diver certification is the most common introductory level you can achieve. Upon completion you will have one of the most recognized certifications in the world that allows you to dive independently of professional supervision to a depth of 18 meters/60 feet throughout the world. The course has a knowledge development module, confined water training sessions, and open water dives that will give you the confidence and skills to begin exploring the undersea realm and the adventure you will find there. Again, no prior experience is necessary to begin, and your adventure just begins upon completing the course.

Includes use of course materials, open water dives leading to certification, any rental equipment needed during course and PADI fees.

Scuba Diver
This is the introductory certification level that allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. No prior experience is necessary to begin, and you can earn a PADI certification in two and a half days. The course is 3 academic modules, 3 confined water training sessions and 2 open water dives. This is the perfect course for those without the time to complete the Open Water Diver course but still looking for certification. The credit for the course applies to the Open Water Diver course certification.
