Enriched Air Diver
This specialty course is designed to qualify divers to use enriched air (Nitrox) for recreational diving. The course covers the use of 22 to 40 percent oxygen enriched air, with emphasis on use of enriched air with 32 and 36 percent oxygen.The PADI EANx Specialty is the most sought after by recreational divers. As with all PADI courses there is knowledge development, practical application,
and actual diving experience.
On Day 1, Is entirely for the knowledge development portion of the course. You will have some reading and knowledge reviews to do. These usually can be finished in one day at a leisurely pace in a hammock on the beach.
On Day 2, We will get you actual experience on how to properly calibrate and use an oxygen analyzer when you get EANx fills from a dive shop.
Together we will plan the dives, and then conduct the two open water dives on the most common and popular fills of 32% and 36% EANx.
When we ar done you will see the benefits of using Nitrox on your no decompression limits and maximum allowable bottom times.
